Hitting the road again

Left the CDL instructor gig before Thanksgiving. Drove an expediter(Class B stratggt truck) for FedEx. My partner couldn’t handle the schedule (my wife got a Class B for this but the 20 hour team trips got to her.)

I’m starting with the strangest organization yet. GE appliances owns the trucking company with the least exciting name: Product Distribution Company. Trucks are Pensie rentals, drivers get paid by Legacy Supply Chain. Shipping GE appliances out of Louisville KY and get back-hauls. Home every weekend.

Errol you almost need a flow chart for that setup. Being rentals they should be in good shape. Sounds like it has the potential too be a good gig. Stay safe back out on the road.

Sounds like a good job Errol. Being an in-house job everything should run a lot smoother than for hire companies. I wish you a lot of success in your new position. Keep us informed on your progress.
