I appreciate that @BigMan-Trucking looking forward to getting out on the road in a couple weeks.
8 more days till I head to orientation. Going to Covenant with a guy I was in school with.
Driving teams is not my ideal situation but I’m getting my foot in the door and will be getting some experience. And at least I know I’ll be teaming with someone I know I get along with. I’ve had him and his wife over for dinner and he’s actually a pretty good guy, easy going like myself.
My plan was to give this 6 months then try and get on with Melton to drive flatbed solo out of Tulsa which is near where I stay.
But who knows what will happen between now and then. I’m just excited to get started! Yall be safe out there.
Well I made it to Covenant in Chatanooga Tennessee. Tomorrow is day 2 of orientation and im more than excited to get my career started. Gonna make the best of this adventure! So far, so good.
Congrats!! Now the wild adventure begins.
Congrats and good luck
Thank you guys! Yall be safe out there.
Congrats Jay P.,
You are on you way now. Keep a positive attitude, absorb all you can from the trainers, take notes if possible so you can refer back to them in case you need to. Be careful, safe and you will enjoy the trip. Good luck.
Thank you sir @navypoppop I appreciate the tips!
Congrats sir, just take everything as it comes. It’s alot of hurry up and wait, but there is a method to the madness.
JayP, just curious how your driving adventure is going. Hope all is well.
