What is everybody hauling? Me myself I pull a flatbed for McElroy trucking. When I got out of coastal trucking academy the friend there got in contact with me and asked me what I was doing and I told them and she asked what do you feel like you really ready for flatbed? I didn’t know how to take that but I told her yes it’s definitely different hardest thing I think it is it’s getting a tarps on there’s a lot I got to learn about tarping. I’m 57 years old in decent shape I feel and after talking a load I feel lever bone in my body ache. Enough about me what do you call and what do you like about it
Been doing these things last 3 years. I have decided to slow down and just haul granite blocks for 1 customer. I am even downgrading my authority from interstate to intrastste.
Second truck on that one is mine. I got the easy part on that load.
Here is the last and biggest one. Went to oregon.
Nice rig there sir. I was looking at photo and was like is that tombstones.
Thanks and yes on tge product id.
I’m still in school but my plan so far is to team with a buddy at Covenant for the first 6 months or so and then I’d like to go to Melton and haul flatbed.
I’m 42 and I like the idea of the physicality and not just 100% behind the wheel. The $100 tarp pay sounds pretty sweet also. If I tarp 2 or 3 loads a week that puts some nice change on top of my paycheck.
One more week of school to go but this is my plan thus far.
Yes sir I agree with you. Good luck when you hit the road.
@Jugutt thank you sir! I can’t wait to get out there!
