Trucking Truth - High Road Trucking CDL Test Prep

I’m just curious if you have access to, or, are planning on utilizing the High Road Trucking CDL training platform from Trucking Truth? Were you able to acquire it when you took over the site, and curious why the site name changed.

If you’re looking to build a similar site, please reach out and let me know, as knowing how many people used that site, especially to prep for their CDL permits and endorsement tests, and seeing how difficult it is to find something REMOTELY close to it, to refresh for my HAZMAT, I think it’d be a valuable resource to have available. Feel free to reach out.

I have a site under construction and have spoke with Brett about a new and much improved version on The High Road that he has been developing. Ive been extremely busy, as has he.

I do plan on finishing the other site, integrating this forum into it, which will most likely involve switching from this service to a different host that embeds directly and the user experience will be more similar form wise to what we had.

In addition the new site will have specific sectors pages like flatbed, reefer, tanker, local, etc. It will have trucking companies infos, schooling and training info as well.

Ive been in discussion with some of the larger carriers in regards to getting their pay, requirements, training and schooling info but have been buried with work and personal obligations so its taking a bit.

The forum here continues to pick up users, usually 1 to 3 a day or so. My hope is that TT members continue to post and bear with me as to how little time I’ve been able to devote to it. Ive held off from doing sections here simply because I plan on integrating the form into the website.

I’m making great progress with High Road Training 2.0! I’ve gotten to the point that I’ve loaded the materials into the database, and I’m starting to spit them out on the screen.

The initial version will be very much like the original, but with the addition of AI to talk with and ask questions. As time goes on, I’ll be incorporating more advanced learning modes, driven primarily by AI.

I realize that AI-driven apps are new to everyone, myself included, so I’m trying to bridge the gap by keeping the old way of doing things intact while sprinkling in some new features, rather than wiping the slate clean and forcing everyone to learn a new way of doing things immediately.

So we’re talking a matter of weeks, not months, before I have something usable. The early versions will work over the web on all devices, including phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops and once I get it to a certain point I’ll put it in the app stores.

So we’re getting closer by the day!

That was such an invaluable tool for myself and I know for countless others also. I think it’s pretty awesome of you to get it out there as an app for everyone. You’re doing the Lord’s work sir!

Yeah, it’s an awesome program and it will be even better with AI helping along. Now you’ll be able to ask questions like you’re talking to the God of trucking who knows every word of the CDL manual and even get a variety of different study modes like flash cards, timed tests, true/false, and all kinds of stuff that AI can make up on the fly.

I’m pretty excited about it, and I’m not that far off from having something usable. It’s hard to set a timeframe, but I believe within a couple of weeks I’ll be asking you guys to start testing it for me!

That’s so cool!! I’ll be looking forward to it!

Brett,

Thank you to you and Davy…

Back in 2016, when I career changed from construction to driving, I used your platform to prep for all endorsements except passenger bus. The State Highway Patrol test administrator thought I was insane to attempt all endorsements in one sitting.

I passed them all the first time. I honestly don’t believe I would have been able to accomplish this, without the HRT platform.

In my opinion, it was the absolute BEST platform for CDL prep out there.
Thanks for everything you’ve done and everything you continue to do!!

I’m looking forward to see what you and Davy end up creating!

Hey Alan,

I believe (fingers crossed!) we may be about one week away from this thing being ready to test. We’re getting closer!
